GENT – KÖLN 75, a film by Ido Fluk, had its premiere at Film Fest Gent in the presence of Vera Brandes. The film will be released in Belgian cinemas on November 12, 2025.

About KÖLN 75:
Vera Brandes is a German jazz enthusiast with a wild plan: as a budding concert promoter, she wants to bring pianist Keith Jarrett to the Cologne Opera House. Anything is better than becoming a dentist, as her father wants. Can Brandes make her ambitions come true in Köln 75? La La Land meets Lola rennt in this rebellious behind-the-scenes biopic dedicated to a legendary jazz concert.

Vera Brandes, on whom the story is based, attended the premiere. She said: "It was really done so well. And the actors are just spectacular. What an honor to be played by Mala Emde."
