Stephen Vandingenen

Stephen Vandingenen is an in-house producer at Lemming Film Belgium. 
Together with Dries Phlypo, he produced the TV series STORM LARA (2021), which was
selected for Berlinale Series Market Selects 2022, the feature film SEA SPARKLE (2023), which
opened the Berlinale Generation section where it notably won the Special Mention of the
children’s jury, the short film PEDRO (2024) by Aline Boyen, which opened the Leuven
International short film festival and co-produced the feature film LA NUIT SE TRAÎNE by Michiel
Blanchart. He is also producer of the second series of the animated series Mister Paper
(currently in production) as well as the animated short film LITTLE STORY by Mirjam Plettinx
and the short film Coffee in Lourdes by Kyoko Scholiers (both in post-production). In 2013 at the
Université Paris-Est, he obtained a degree in Cinematographic and Audiovisual Studies. In 2015
in London, he obtained a master’s in film Making at Kingston University, where he also received
the MA Film Making prize for excellence in film making. He attended the APostLab workshop in
Bucharest, Romania in 2019, the Torino Film Lab Extended Story Editing workshop in Madrid,
Spain in 2022, the Green Film Lab workshop in Dublin, Ireland in 2023, the ACE Animation
Special workshop in Dingle, Ireland in 2024 and the EAVE producers workshop in 2025. 
Vandingenen worked as line producer and post-production supervisor on the feature My Dad is
a Sausage (2021), as post-production supervisor on the drama series A Good Year (2021) and
as production coordinator on multiple co-productions.
